NGC 1333
NGC 1333 is seen in visible light as a reflection nebula, dominated by bluish hues characteristic of starlight reflected by interstellar dust. It lies at the edge of a large, star-forming molecular cloud 1,000 light-years distant toward the constellation Perseus.

The image shows details of the dusty region along with hints of contrasting red emission from Herbig-Haro objects, jets and shocked glowing gas emanating from recently formed stars.  NGC 1333 contains hundreds of stars less than a million years old.

The chaotic environment may be similar to one in which our own Sun formed over 4.5 billion years ago.

See the full image and original text explaining the fabulous astrophoto in NASA/APOD.

Herbig-Haro objects
Herbig–Haro (HH) objects are small patches of nebulosity associated with newly born stars, and are formed when narrow jets of gas ejected by young stars collide with clouds of gas and dust nearby at speeds of several hundred kilometres per second. Herbig–Haro objects are ubiquitous in star-forming regions, and several are often seen around a single star, aligned with its rotational axis.

HH objects are transient phenomena, lasting not more than a few thousand years. They can evolve visibly over quite short astronomical timescales as they move rapidly away from their parent star into the gas clouds of interstellar space (the interstellar medium or ISM). Hubble Space Telescope observations have revealed the complex evolution of HH objects over the period of a few years, as parts of the nebula fade while others brighten as they collide with clumpy material of the interstellar medium.

God's sun, not ours!
The expression used in the referred APOD page "our own Sun" is, of course, commonly used when discussing the star most familiar to us all. However, it does not indicate ownership nor control. As His son Jesus Christ reminds us, it is not our Sun, but the owner of that magnificent life sustaining star is God of Israel, the Creator of heavens and earth!
Love for Enemies
You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.

If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
Matthew 5:43 - 48
